"I wanted to thank you for the lovely way that you conducted yesterday's service. So many of the people we spoke to afterwards were so complimentary about the way you delivered the words that we all had chosen. You are a great credit to the people you work for and they should be proud of you. Thank you again for making a difficult occasion more bearable for us all."
Phil, Rhyl

Civil Funeral Ceremony
Civil Funeral Ceremony
A Civil Funeral is a ceremony which reflects the person who has passed away. Much like a traditional funeral service it usually includes the congregation of their loved ones and concludes with a cremation or burial dependant on the persons' wishes. The ceremony, created after the family have met with a celebrant, will reflect their loved one's life and special milestones they achieved. Others may be invited to speak or do a reading but the majority of the service is led by the celebrant and can be held anywhere including crematoriums and natural burial sites. A Civil Funeral can be a non-religious ceremony or can incorporate any religion or belief.
All ceremonies can include any appropriate poetry, music, readings and prayers.
Memorial Service
Memorial Service
A Memorial Service is often held after the funeral. This particular type of ceremony is suitable if the funeral was a private ceremony but the family wish to invite all who knew the person who has passed to remember them and celebrate their life. It is also suitable if the person cannot have a traditional funeral for any reason. A Memorial is led by a celebrant but the majority of the service involves speakers reflecting on their memories and thoughts of the person who has passed whether through poetry, a personal story or a prayer. It is a very personal and often comforting ceremony which allows all who loved them to share in different aspects of their life. These ceremonies can take place anywhere and can include religious or non-religious material.
